Hey everyone !

Today i’m releasing a small new update for Dead Alone with multiple fixes, changes and two small new features !

After the big Alpha 1.0.0 update and this small one there shouldn’t be any new update until the Alpha 1.10.0 which should be available in the summer. I will give more details on that a bit later but for now I hope you will enjoy this first major Alpha version !

Alpha 1.0.1 Patch notes - Tuesday April 26 | 4 PM CET

Features:

• First of all, there is a brand new “New Game” menu with also the introduction of difficulty settings ! The difficulty can also be modified in the settings anytime during the game.
• Auto saves are now available in game ! They are disabled by default but can be enabled in the settings, they occur every 5 minutes.

Changes:

• Reworked the way explosive barrels work, they now deal more damages when exploding and have less hp (60-85-100 damages and 5-20-40hp). But now they will only explode after 3 seconds or if you deal 2x the damages (10-40-80 damages). Also, when exploding zombies will be slow down for 1.5s, like for projectiles

• You can now swap between weapons using your mouse wheel

• When dying, you will now respawn closer to the zone you died in

• You will now need to hold the skip button for 1 second in order to skip the timer until next wave, this should avoid some unfortunate missclicks

• You can now save or load a savegame by double clicking on it into the menu

• There is now a small notification when replacing an existing keybind

Fixes:

• Fully reworked the way zombie spawning is handled to fix a game-breaking bug causing the zombies to not spawn anymore

• Fixed an issue that caused, in some conditions, the player to be unable to move after closing the Shop

• Fixed multiple issues with the Explosive Barrels

• Made some Control Zones a bit bigger and fixed multiple issues with them
